- My names Josh, I started going to hardcore shows in the mid to late 90's. I've been singing in a band for the last 6 years called Taste the steel. Hardcore is the only thing in my life that has never let me down. The ethics & the camaraderie mixed with showing me how to live a clean lifestyle through straight edge, Has molded me into the person that I am today at 27. I'm doing this blog to showcase bands that I loved growing up from ages 13 to now. Hardcore and the people involved with it is the only thing in my life that ever gave me any sort of self worth, and for that I am grateful always. This blog is a testament to something that has shaped many of us. Hope you enjoy it.
